
CFC Universal Exam Prep Course to achieve the Universal certification.
The CFC Universal Exam Prep course teaches you the dates, terminology, rules and regulations. Hence, knowing this is necessary to be prepared to take and pass the EPA CFC Section 608 certification Exam. This mandatory certification is necessary to be able to purchase and handle refrigerants. The certification is required in countries that are a participant in the Montreal Protocol. Consenquilly, without the Universal CFC certification, it is NOT possible to legally purchase refrigerant or provide service on an air conditioning system.
Please note that this online prep course does not include the cost of the actual EPA CFC certification test.

In order to ensure the proper handling and recycling of refrigerant and waste materials, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires certification. The chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification process consists of a single CFC Universal Exam Prep Course that consists of four parts. As well as, CFC Universal Exam that lasts 3 hours. The course covers a variety of topics related to refrigeration and prepares you to take a certification exam.
EPA CFC Universal Section 608 requires four types of certification in order to receive CFC Universal:
Servicing small appliances (Core)
As a result, after completing the CFC Universal Exam Prep – Core, you receive the knowledge to pass the EPA Core CFC certification. Hence, you can describe the rules and regulations. You learn the names and the dates that apply to the technicians working on refrigerant appliances. Finally, you master the rules that a technician needs to follow to stay within the law and not harm the ozone and the stratosphere.
Servicing or disposing of high- or very high-pressure appliances, except small appliances and MVACs (Type I).
As a result, after completing the CFC Universal Exam Prep course – Type I, you will receive the knowledge to pass the EPA Type I CFC certification. Hence, you will be able to describe what a Type I appliance is, and how to identify the type. You master the procedures for recovering and servicing type I appliances.
Servicing or disposing of low-pressure appliances (Type II)
As a result, after completing the CFC Universal Exam Prep course – Type II, you receive the knowledge to pass the EPA Type II CFC certification. Consequently, you can describe what a high-pressure system is and proper evacuating rates. You learn about leak rates and safety procedures. EPA mechanical equipment.
Servicing all types of equipment (Type III)
As a result, after completing the CFC Universal Exam Prep course – Type III, you will receive the knowledge to pass the EPA Type III CFC certification. Most notably, you will be able to describe what is a Type III. Also, you master the procedures for recovering and servicing Type III appliances.
